12 Brigade Nigerian Army Headquarters Gets New Commander

The 12 Brigade Nigerian Army Headquarters in Lokoja, Kogi State has gotten a new Commander by the name Brigadier General Isang Akpaumontia and he has since taken over the control of the Command from the former Brigade Commander, in person of Brigadier Nsikak Edet who has also been posted to the Headquarters of 9 Brigade at Ikeja in Lagos State.

The outgoing Commander, Brigadier Nsikak Edet thanked the Chief of Army Staff, Major General Farouk Yahaya for appointing him the Pioneer Commander of the Headquarters 12 Brigade which  saddled him with the rare privilege of setting up a new Brigade.

He thanked all the officers and soldiers of the Brigade for their total support and cooperation he enjoyed during his tour of duty in 12 Brigade, stating that the successes recorded was a collective one. He urged them to give the same level of support and cooperation to the new Commander. 

Also speaking, the new Commander, Brigadier Isang Akpaumontia urged for same level of cooperation as extended to his predecessor to enable him continue with the development of the new Brigade.

Until his appointment as the second Commander of HQ 12 Brigade in Lokoja, Brigadier General Isang Akpaumontia was the immediate past  Commander HQ 9 Brigade Ikeja in Lagos.
