19 Years Old Boy Arrested For Defiling 15 Years Girl In Ekiti

The Ekiti State Police Command has arrested a 19 years old Olajobi Taiwo for allegedly defiling a 15 years old girl in Ekiti State.
The arrest was made on March 7, 2025, at the Divisional Police Headquarters, Oke-Ila, at approximately 11:40 am.
According to the police, Taiwo, a resident of Dallimore Street, Ado-Ekiti, allegedly committed the crime alongside a friend who is currently at large.
Investigations revealed that the victim had run away from home, fearing punishment from her mother, and was subsequently lured by the suspects to their room where she was forcefully defiled.
The case has been transferred to the Gender-Based Violence Unit of the State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department for further investigation.
The Police command has therefore warned citizens to desist from all forms of sexual crimes and other criminal acts, stating that those found guilty will be prosecuted accordingly.
The Ekiti State Police Command’s swift response to this incident demonstrates their commitment to tackling crimes against women and children in the State.
