2026: Oluyede Greets Ekiti, Assures On Greater Development 

The gubernatorial candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, Dr Wole Oluyede has extended his new year greetings to the people of Ekiti and assured them of greater development .

Oluyede extended his new year greetings today, Thursday through his spokesperson, Gani Salau and made available to Journalists in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State capital expressing his desire to transform Ekiti State to a greater height if given the opportunity through their votes in the forthcoming election

“I seek for your mandate in order to serve you as the Governor of this State in 2026 through your massive support by the special grace of God.”

“As you know that this is an election year and by this month ending in accordance with the laws of the land and the electoral act, I will be engaging you through my campaign and manifesto to tell you what I have in stock for the transformation of our dear state’.

Oluyede assured Ekiti people that they will not regret by giving him their support through their votes.

“Giving me your votes this year June 20 remains a social contract in-between you and I which I promise not to disappoint you for surrendering your mandate for me.”

The Medical consultant however expressed his mind towards changing the mentality of Ekiti from Civil service state to a more economic viable State through wealth creation. 

“Wealth creation is a major priority I have for the people of Ekiti. My international experience will be brought to governance in order to make life better for the people of Ekiti. It is done somewhere else and there is nothing bad in it having such here”.

He asked Ekiti people to be prayerful in order to have a smooth transition of government.

The gubernatorial candidate advised his co-contestants, political gladiators and all political parties to play the game according to the rule so that the polity will not be overheated. 

“As for me, I will embark on issue based campaign which will afford me the opportunity to present my program of action on how to do it differently for you”.
