The State Chairman of the Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC) in Ekiti State, Pharmacist Kolapo Olatunde has congratulated the Muslims in Ekiti State on the celebrations of the 2026 Eid-el-Fitr.

In a statement personally signed in Ado Ekiti, the NLC Chairman in Ekiti State, Comrade Kolapo Olatunde wished workers a joyous celebration, saying Eid-el-Fitr is a time for reflection, gratitude, and renewal.

Comrade Olatunde urged workers to use the occasion to pray for peace, progress, and prosperity for Ekiti State and Nigeria.

He acknowledged the sacrifices made by workers and emphasized the importance of unity and solidarity.

The NLC Chairman also called on workers to remain committed to their duties, saying their efforts are crucial to the development of the state and the country.

He assured workers that the NLC is working tirelessly to promote their welfare and interests as well thanked Governor Biodun Oyebanji for identifying with Muslim workers during this festive period.

As workers celebrate with their families and loved ones, Comrade Olatunde wished them a happy Eid-el-Fitr, Eid Mubarak.

The NLC Ekiti State reaffirmed its commitment to serving workers and promoting their welfare, saying it will continue to be a voice for the voiceless and a champion of labour rights.
