Imole Campaign Council Demands Apology From APC For Civil Servants Before Seeking Power Again – TICC

The Imole Campaign Council, TICC, has demanded an apology from the past administration of the All Progressives Congress for previously treating the Civil Servants in the State badly, before seeking power again in the State.
The campaign council stated this in a statement issued after the remarks made during a recent interview, where the opposition party was accussed of failing to address issues surrounding its past administration.
In the statement signed by Pelumi Olajengbesi, the campaign council alleged that workers in Osun State suffered hardship under the APC administration through irregular salary payments, neglect of retirees and low morale in the public service.
It noted that many workers affected by the situation were still expecting accountability fromthe party.
The campaign council said it would be inappropriate for the APC to seek another opportunity to govern without first acknowledging its shortcomings and tendering an apology to civil servants.
TICC also commended the administration of Governor Ademola Adeleke, saying the present government had improved workers’ welfare, restored confidence in governance and renewed public trust.
The statement added that voters in Osun State would assess political parties based on their records, performance and credibility. Noting that that accountability must come before political ambition.
