2023: Omoleye Seeks Royal Blessing,  Drums Supports For Asiwaju Tinubu

Ahead of tomorrow’s start of electoral campaigns for the general elections, the All Progressive Congress (APC) candidate for Ekiti Federal Constituency II, Hon Biodun Omoleye has visited traditional rulers in Ijero local government, to solicit for their supports and prayers.

Accompanied by the Chairman of Ijero local government, Hon. Adeola Adeyemo and other APC Stalwarts, Omoleye said he holds the traditional rulers in high esteem, hence the need to make their place first point of call for their royal blessings.

Omoleye promised if elected,that he will pursue vigorously the constitutional roles for the traditional institutions.

According to him, the constitutional roles for the traditional institutions will allow the royal fathers to effectively contribute to the development in the society.

“I am an advocate of constitutional responsibilities for our traditional rulers and I will make sure I work towards achieving this and also revamp palace courts to reduce huge cases and delay in our various Courts.

The former Chief of Staff to Ekiti State Governor also used the occasion to drum up support for the presidential candidate of APC, Asiwaju Ahmed Bola Tinubu.

He promised to do his best to represent the people of his constituency effectively.

The Alayegunle of Ayegunle-Ekiti, Oba Johnson Aderiye, Alara of Ara-Ekiti, Oba Folorunso Adedara, Oluloro of Iloro-Ekiti, Oba James Olugbesoye,Oluroye of Iroko-Ekiti,Oba Sunday Ekundayo and Ojurin of Ijurin-Ekiti,Oba Joachim Afolabi,who all spoke after the others, described Omoleye as a man of the people who takes community interest as a priority than selfish interest.

The traditional rulers went down the memory lane to highlight various projects executed by Omoleye when he was the Chairman of Ijero local government. They further said they were proud of his achievements when he was the Chief of Staff to Ekiti State Governor, stressed he will do better if elected into the national assembly.

They prayed for Omoleye and wish him a successful campaign and victory at the poll.
