Ekiti State Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, will resume official duties on Monday, September 7, 2026, after completing his two-week annual leave.
The leave was part of the governor’s statutory annual entitlement.
In a statement signed on Saturday by his Special Adviser on Media, Yinka Oyebode, it was disclosed that Governor Oyebanji continued to attend to critical state matters throughout the leave period.

According to the statement, the governor is returning with renewed vigour as preparations intensify for the commencement of his second term in office.
