Tinubu Took Tough Decisions For Nigeria’s Survival, Says Kayode Ojo
By Rotimi Aleshinloye
A 2026 governorship aspirant in Ekiti State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Engr. Kayode Ojo, says President Bola Ahmed Tinubu took tough decisions not because they were popular, but because they were necessary for Nigeria’s survival.
Ojo made the remark in a statement made available to newsmen in Ado-Ekiti on Friday, where he commended members of the party and other residents of the state for giving the Presidential Campaign Council a rousing and enthusiastic welcome on November 5.
He said the massive turnout was a clear demonstration of appreciation for President Tinubu’s economic reforms, which he described as aimed at developing the country for the benefit of all, especially the Nigerian masses.
According to him, the President has laid a sturdy foundation for the nation’s economy despite initial challenges.
Ojo expressed confidence in Tinubu’s ability to take Nigeria to the promised land, noting that the bold and undeterred steps taken so far were in the best interest of all Nigerians and were taken without personal consideration.
“Mr. President has demonstrated uncommon courage. He took decisions not because they were popular but because they were necessary for our collective survival and prosperity. That is true leadership,” Ojo stated.
He also commended his numerous supporters across Ekiti State, especially politicians, civil servants, artisans, youths, market women and men, among others, for rising to the occasion by giving the Presidential Campaign Council undiluted and ardent support.
Ojo noted that Ekiti State remains a stronghold of progressives and must continue to lead in demonstrating loyalty, unity, and commitment to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
He further assured that Ekiti people are fully prepared and enthusiastic to vote for the APC again in 2027, promising a landslide victory that will reflect the state’s love for President Tinubu and the APC in the general elections.
