Pastor Enoch Aladejare Adeboye, the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church Of God (RCCG) has called on Nigerians to ignore fake Prophets telling them fake prophecies about who will win the 2023 Presidential Election already scheduled to hold on the 25th of February, 2023.
Pastor Adeboye while delivering his message during the January edition of the Holy Ghost Service tagged “Wonderful” on Friday night at the Redemption City berated many Nigerian Prophets who are always going on the social media and prophesying fake prophecies about the winner of the 2023 Presidential Election.
According to Pastor Adeboye, he said, “Prophecies are good if it is from God. Prophecies are not conjectures. But, there are some clowns in Nigeria calling themselves Prophets and they don’t know the meaning of prophecies,” Adeboye declared.
He stressed: “Any prophet prophesying who will win the 2023 presidential election is a liar and a deceiver.”
He urged those who has not surrendered and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Saviour to surrender to Him so that no Prophets would deceive them again.
“When you surrender and accept Jesus Christ into your life, you will hear from Him directly and if you hear from Him directly, no Prophet will deceive you again because the Bible says, ‘my sheep knows my voice’”.
He added that most of those Prophets prophesying election winners are involved in conjectures and not prophecies.
According to him, prophecies are direct messages and communication from God and not permutations as some Prophets want people to believe it is prophecy.
“Whoever is prophesying who will win the 2023 presidential election is deceiving you. God has been quiet on this and He has not spoken.
“Just get your permanent voters card (PVC) and be ready to vote for whoever comes to your mind. If He (God) tells me, I may tell you, I may not. Just be prepared,” Adeboye submitted.
He advised Prophets using the name of God to deceive people with permutations, lies and conjectures in the name of Prophecy to stop the trend.
