The Kabiyesi Alana of Oke Ana Ijesha, Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph has enjoined Nigerians and most especially regular travellers along the popular Ilesa / Akure and Ado Ekiti roads to expect an International Market in his ancient community of Oke Ana Ijesha soon.
The Traditional Ruler of the ancient community, His Royal Highness, HRH, Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph stated the above while fielding questions from Treasure Newspaper in his palace at Oke Ana Ijesha in the Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State on Saturday.
According to Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph, the Alana of Oke Ana Ijesha, he said, “all arrangements are now set to build an international market at Oke Ana Ijesha to help boost the economy activities of the ancient community who has suffered a total neglect by the previous government of Osun State”.
Oba Adegbenga who decried the level of underdevelopment in which the ancient community of Oke Ana Ijesha has gone through for so many years called on the current Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke to urgently come to their rescue to change their story positively and avert the community from continuing to suffer in their poverty and low level life and from being totally isolated from the rest of Osun State.

Oba Adegbenga also demanded that his community needed a school to be established by the government at Oke Ana Ijesha.
The Alana of Oke Ana Ijesha who would soon clock three years on the throne of his forefathers while reeling out his few achievements revealed that through his efforts, he has been able to facilitate churches like the Redeemed Christian Church of God, Cherubim and Seraphim Church as well as the Celestial Church of Christ to the ancient community.
Also, he added that through his efforts, the community would soon complete and commission the first ever Town Hall project he initiated about a year ago in the community.

Speaking further, the Alana of Oke Ana Ijesha explained that the main pre-occupation of the people of the community is farming. “We don’t know more than farming. Our people are mostly farmers and they are most concerned to go to their farms and return home, that is all. Our population are not many”, he declared.
He used the opportunity to appeal to investors on the need for them to come and establish their businesses in the community for it grow and develop. “If you are an investor willing to come, and you need land, we will give you land to establish what you want to do as far as you have good intentions to do so”, he revealed.
In his specific message to the Sons and Daughters of Oke Ana Ijesha, he also used the opportunity to call on them wherever they are, in Lagos, Ibadan, Abuja, Oversees and other places to come back home and join hands to develop it, saying there are no more witches that can kill or harm them in their place of birth.

He assured the investors who are willing to come to Oke Ana Ijesha to invest of the readiness of their host community people to receive them irregardless whether they are indigenes or strangers.
“Anyone who has money but who is not a killer or armed robber or a ritualist are free to come, we will give them land”, he promised.
He opined that, to be at peace is the best approach for people to continue to live together in the community in peace.
