Efon Alaaye Kingdom Sets To Hold 2023 Day

The Efon Alaaye Kingdom in Ekiti State is set to hold it’s 2023 Day Celebrations in the ancient community in this month of August, 2023.

Revealing the information through a press release signed and sent to the Treasure Newspaper on Tuesday, the President General of the Efon Alaaye Development League, Mr. Olabode Fagbemiro stated that, “the Ekiti State Governor, Mr. Biodun Oyebanji is being expected as the Special Guest for the Efon 2023 Day Celebrations”.

The President General, Mr. Olabode Fagbemiro added that, “The Royal Father for the Day is the Alaaye of Efon Kingdom, in person of Oba Dr. Emmanuel Aladejare while the Guest Speaker will be the Araba of Osogbo, Chief Ifayemi Elebuibon”.

He went further to reveal that, the indigenes of Efon Alaaye from across the globe will converge on Saturday, the 26th of August, 2023, to launch the first tranche of the One billion Naira Efon Alaaye Strategic Development Fund. 

The event, which is the grand finale of the week long Efon Alaaye Day 2023, will hold at the CAC Grammar School grounds, Efon Alaaye. 

He listed the highlights of the week-long events to include: intellectual banquet, cultural exhibition, medical outreaches, beauty pageant and sports among others.
