New Guinness World Record Longest Cooking Marathon Emerges, Displaces Hilda Baci

A new Guinness World Records longest cooking marathon, by the name Alan Fisher has emerged thereby displacing the Nigerian previous record breaker Hilda Baci.

Announcing the dethronement of the Nigerian Hilda Baci on Tuesday, the Guinness World Records revealed the new winner on X.

According to the Guiness World Records, they wrote, “Alan Fisher from the Ireland cooked for an incredible 119 hours and 57 minutes at his restaurant in Japan to beat the earlier records of 93 hours 11 minutes for the Nigerian Hilda Baci”.

Previous records before that of the Nigerian Hilda Baci, indicated that one Lata Tondo, an Indian Chef, set the records of 87 hours 45 minutes in 2019. 

“By the latest Guinness World Records, Alan Fisher from Ireland is now the new record owner of the Longest Cooking Marathon in the world”.

Giving further details, the Guiness World Records through his official website revealed that, Allan Fisher from the Ireland set two new cooking related records titles.

Firstly, he set the new records as the longest cooking marathon for an individual after clocking a time of 119 hours 57 minutes, making it 24 hours longer than the previous records held by the Nigerian Chef Hilda Baci.

The Guiness World Records also revealed that Alan, claimed the longest Baking Marathon for an individual, with a time of 47 hours 21 minutes.

The previous record holder in the Baking Marathon was Wendy Sandner from the  United States Of America with a time of 31 hours 16 minutes.

The Guiness World Records also revealed that the world’s latest records breaker, stated that Alan took on both attempts back to back, meaning he was at work in the kitchen for over 160 hours with just over a day of rest in between.
