The Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Oyebanji, has said his administration will include the construction of Ayetoro Ekiti Road to the State’s budget.
He made this known during the ‘Mr Governor Explains’ programme aired on Ekiti radio 91.5FM on Sunday evening.
In response to the agitations of the callers that contributed to the programme discussion, Governor Oyebanji said the construction of Ayetoro Ekiti Road is a necessity, adding that he passed the route some days ago and saw how bad the road was.

Also, reacting to the agitations of the people of Odo Owa Ekiti, who are seeking for representatives at the State level, Governor’s Oyebanji said that his administration is not done with appointments of Representatives yet, hence, Odo Owa Ekiti and other local government areas that does not have Representatives will be given the opportunity to be represented soon.
Furthermore, he disclosed that his government is constructing new offices for the representatives, which is why the representatives are included in batches, he stated.
According to him, all local government areas (LGA) in need of transformer should “officially” write to him so that when the transformers arrived they can be sent to the local government areas that requested.

The Governor also noted that he has set up various Ministries for the youth development, one which is the Ministry of Works and Wealth Creation, adding that Ekiti youths have been interviewed; he knows what they want; will continue to put them at heart and that all his intended projects for the youth would be accomplished.
More so, he noted that anyone who has a complaint should write to the office of the Governor so that it will be documented and attended to.
More so, he urged his fellow All Progressive Congress (APC) Members to join him to the work of governance and build Ekiti, citing that it would boost people’s trust in the administration and the Party at large.

He also thanked the Royal Fathers in the State and the indigenes, seeking their continuous support, while to serve the people in excellence.
