Appoint Those Who Worked For Your Victory To Important Positions – Aiyedatiwa Told

The Governor – Elect in the November 16th, 2024 governorship election in Ondo State, His Excellency, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa has been told to first consider ONLY those who worked tirelessly and wholeheartedly for his emergence in the November 16th Ondo State Governorship election to key and important and sensitive positions as he is preparing for his inauguration into office as the Governor for another term.

Speaking to Treasure Newspaper on condition of anonymity in Akure recently, the group told the Governor – Elect, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa not to forget major stakeholders who laboured day and night for his return to the Alagbaka Government House as well as the Governor’s office in Akure, Ondo State ever before and during the election.

The group urged him to first consider first sets / top hierarchy of leaders at the State and across the 18 local government areas of Ondo State for appointments before considering others.

They reminded him and pleaded with him not to forget their sleepless nights, rigorous campaigns day and night, personal expenses, time, commitments and the several resources committed to his victory at the poll.

Speaking further, they reminded him about some of them who risk their lives and undertake herculean tasks to see that their party, the All Progressives Congress, APC, defeated other political parties who participated in the election hands down.

Adding, they urged him to also recalled how they mobilized voters in the nooks and crannies of the State.

Members of the group who preferred their names not to be mentioned also appealed to the Governor-Elect, Honourable Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa to consider them for positions like Commissioners, political heads of prominent government Agencies, Boards, Parastatals, Departments both at the local government areas, State and even at the Federal levels.

Emphasising their stand, the group told the Governor – Elect, Honourable Aiyedatiwa to first consider the All Progressives Congress leaders like the key party stakeholders’ in the State like the members of the State Working Committee at the State, Zone and local government areas; members of the campaign structures at the State, Zone and as well as the Campaign Director Generals at the local government areas and those who wholeheartedly cooperated with them and work for the party’ s victory at the November 16th, 2024 poll among others.
