The Kabiyesi, Alana of Oke Ana Ijesha, Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph has congratulated the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke for his victory at the Supreme Court.
Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph in a press release he personally signed and sent to media houses on Wednesday morning felicitated with Senator Ademola Adeleke for his triumph at the Country’s apex Court which was held on Tuesday in Abuja.
While congratulating the Governor of Osun State, Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph counselled the Governor not to take or handle the issues of the people of Osun State and the masses with levity.
According to the Kabiyesi, he said, “Dear Excellency, now that you have won your election at the supreme court, I urged you never to take the love the people of Osun State showed you for granted or with levity. I urged you never to roll out any anti-people policies that can reduce your love in the hearts of Osun State people. But instead, I want you to sustain the tempo of their love for you, and most especially for the Adeleke’s family. Continue to be friendly with the people of the State and don’t allow yourself to be wrongly advised”, he pointed out.
Speaking further, Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph also advised the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke to focus his programmes to the development of the rural areas and the underdeveloped communities of the State.
He went on to counsel the Governor not to see any section of the State as his enemy or opponent but instead, show them love so that he won’t loose his grasp on the State.
He reminded Governor Ademola Adeleke not to forget the Oke Ana Ijesha community in his administration.
He used the opportunity to lament on the poor condition of living of the people of Oke Ana Ijesha and called on the Governor to pay attention to the plights of his people and that of his own community in the State.
“Our community at Oke Ana Ijesha has been isolated and neglected for many years without any government presence. We are using this opportunity to call on you, Your Excellency, to find time out of your busy schedule to visit our community and see for yourself the level of underdevelopment that your people have been suffering”.
Oba Adegbenga Adegbuyi Joseph also reminded Governor Ademola Adeleke not to forget Oke Ana Ijesha community in his administration by making provision for it as he did for some others when he provided a whopping sum of N518 million for infrastructural development in their communities recently.
“Dear Excellency, we wish to let you know, that the leaders of the Oke Ana Ijesha community has made several frantic efforts to ensure the community is developed and one of such moves is our plan to have an International Market built in the community, and to have this fully achieved, your support will be needed as the Governor of the State”, the Kabiyesi concluded.
