Alawe Commends Ekiti Governor, Oyebanji For Creating Bye Pass Route To Landslide Affected Area On Ilawe – Ado Ekiti

The Alawe of Ilawe Ekiti Kingdom, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, Afuntade 1, has praised the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr. Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji for creating a bye pass route that will help road users to navigate through the collapsed part of the Ilawe to Ado Ekiti which was affected by landslide recently.

The former Chairman of the Ekiti State Council of Traditional Rulers in a statement signed by his Media Adviser, High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi and made  available to the Treasure Newspaper on Thursday commended the Governor of Ekiti State for doing the needful on the road. 

Speaking further, Oba Alabi during a visit to the site said “that the Governor’s action on the road has provided a great relief to Ilawe Ekiti people and other motorists plying the road noting that the rate of motor accidents around the area has greatly reduced”. 

The Alawe also appealed to the  contractor handling the drainage system along a section of the road to complete the job before the raining season in order to avoid flooding.
