Alawe Dissolves 2024 Ilawe Ekiti Unity Day Planning Committee 

… Commends Members Efforts Towards Success

The Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti, His Royal Majesty, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi, AFUNTADE 1, has announced the dissolution of the 2024 Ilawe-Ekiti Unity Day Planning Committee with  immediate effect. The Alawe while dissolving the Committee thanked members for the success of the celebration.

In a press release signed and sent to newsmen on Saturday, High Chief Olubunmi, the Media Adviser to Kabiyesi Alawe, said, Oba Adebanji Ajibade Alabi Afuntade 1, has henceforth directed “that no member of the dissolved Planning Committee should henceforth speak on behalf of the committee or the Alawe of Ilawe-Ekiti except the Media Adviser to Alawe, High Chief Ajibade Olubunmi who has been given the authorisation to do so”. 

Oba Alabi however commended the Ilawe Ekiti indigenes for their overwhelming financial and moral support which enhanced the success of the epochal event. 

He also used the opportunity to thank immensely the people of the community for their presence at the occasion.
