Amotekun Corps Grabs Three Fulani Men For Machetting Teenager In Ekiti

Some group of three Fulani Men namely Umaru Aliu, Ado Aliu and Zakariyat Aliu has been grabbed by the operatives of the Amotekun Corps in Ikole Ekiti local government area of Ekiti State for Machetting Ayewuwi Opeyemi Olaiya, an 18 years old teenage boy who lives and hails from the area.

In a press release signed and issued on Friday, the Senior Editor of the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps Headquarters, Officer Adeleye Abiodun Adewale, narrated how the victim and his mother were returning home from farm recently when some Fulani men accosted them, resulting into the boy been machetted leading to a cut  on his foot.

Adeleye explained further that, due to the several and severe cuts on the boy’s foot, he was immediately rushed to Federal Medical Centre in Ikole Ekiti for a quick medical treatment.

Meanwhile, Adeleye however revealed that the suspects have been arrested and handed over to Ikole Police Division for further on the matter.
