Amotekun Corps Reassures Osun Residents of Maximum Security, Calls For Calm

The Osun State Amotekun Corps has reiterated its commitment and re-assurance of safety and security of lives and properties in the State, following the conclusion of the recent Local Government Elections. 

The Osun State Amotekun Corps Commander, Dr. Adekunle Isaac Omoyele emphasized that there is no cause for panic concerning the current security situation in Osun State.

Omoyele also assured residents that the Amotekun Corps is on high alert, ready to swiftly address any attempts to disrupt the peace of the State. 

He urged residents to remain vigilant and proactive in maintaining community safety by reporting security threats to the Amotekun Corps or other relevant agencies.

The Corps Commander equally emphasized that the security of Osun State inhabitants remains non-negotiable, promising that the Amotekun Corps is resolute in its mission to prevent and respond to criminal activity or violence. 

He warned that individuals engaging in violent or unlawful acts will face immediate arrest and prosecution.

Omoyele also addressed concerns about the influx of policemen in Osun State, stating that their presence is not a cause for alarm, but rather a specific deployment to maintain order and protect the State.

He equally promised to prioritize the safety of residents, ensuring peace and security throughout the State.
