Amotekun Nabs Suspected Rapists In Ekiti

The Ekiti State Amotekun Corps in Ekiti South West Local Government Command has nabbed a 28 years old Olapade lfeoluwa, who hailed and resides in llawe-Ekiti for allegedly involvement in the raping of a seven-year-old minor (name and identity withheld).

Upon interrogation by the arresting Officers of the local government command, he (the suspect) confessed to the crime committed, adding that the minor was induced with watching of film watch by the alleged suspect into his apartment, while he precipitously had a carnal knowledge of her, even though he later ascribed such ill action to devil’s work after his apprehension.

The father of the minor who prefers anonymity, explained the ordeal, noting that, her daughter’s outcry during the ugly incident at Ujana street in llawe-Ekiti aided her rescue with support from the crowd. 

The suspect and the victim are currently at to Ekiti State Amotekun Headquarters Command, Ado-Ekiti for further investigation and necessary action.

The Head of Communication Department for the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, Adeleye Abiodun confirmed the matter to Treasure Newspaper.
