Amotekun Nabs Two for Theft In Ikole-Ekiti

The Ekiti State Amotekun Corps has arrested an 18-year-old lfedayo Oluwafemi, an indigene and resident of number 8, Temidire street in lkole-Ekiti, Ekiti State on 25th December, 2024.

It is revealed by the  Amotekun arresting  Officers of the Local Government Command that, the suspect was allegedly involved in  stealing of an lnfinix Smart 7 plus phone which belongs to Mr. Michael Dayo, a resident in the same town.

The suspect allegedly admits to the crime committed, during the interrogations by the Amotekun Officers.

Meanwhile, 35-year-old, Ojo Abdulazez, an Ebira indigene from Kogi State residing in Ikole-Ekiti, is also caught for allegedly stealing motor parts and sawmill equipment.  

The complainant, Mr. Sunday Idowu, reported to Amotekun operatives that the suspect unlawfully entered his new site and committed the theft without his consent.

Suspects have been handed over to the Police Division in Ikole-Ekiti for further investigation after the exhibits have been recovered from them.
