The Anambra State Police Command is set to commence the training and reorientation of Vigilante operatives in the State.

Following the above, the Command yesterday began the documentation and necessary health checks for the Vigilante operatives.
The training aims to equipped the Vigilante operatives on security protocols, human rights, and community policing security principles to enhance collaboration with the Police and other security agencies for overall safety and security in the State.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Anambra Police Command, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, revealed that lectures on Ethics, Professionalism and Synergy with other security agencies, the management of crime scene, rule of law, and handling of exhibits as well other necessary security need-to-know.
Tochukwu also explained that the ongoing documentation would help to ensure accountability, enhance the organisational structure of the Vigilante Operatives and streamline their operations in the State.
This effort demonstrates the Police Command and the State Government’s collaborative commitment to community security and safety.
