An Osun State High Court sitting in Osogbo, on Wednesday, has sentenced Hilton Hotel receptionist, Miss Adedeji Adesola, to two years imprisonment in Ilesa Correctional Center, for altering the receipt issued to late Timothy Adegoke, a postgraduate student of Obafemi Awolowo University ( OAU ), when he lodge in the hotel.
Treasure Newspaper reports that Miss Adedeji Adesola was said to have fabricated another receipt as directed by her employer (Rahman Adedoyin) in order to conceal any traces of the deceased death from the Police.
Justice Adepele Ojo who handed over the two year jail term to the convict being the 7th defendant in her trial, said “the two year jail term begins from the first day she was detained since the commencement of the matter”.
It would be recalled that the 7th defendant, Miss Adedeji Adesola was arraigned with six others on 11 counts charge bothering on conspiracy, murder felony among others, and they all pleaded not guilty to all the counts.
Treasure Newspaper further reports that the case file number HOS / 5C/ 2022 dated February 14th, 2022 and filed on February 17th, 2022, was substituted with HOS/5C/ 2022, dated February 22nd, 2022 and filed on March 2nd, 2022.
Timothy Adegoke was a postgraduate student at the Obafemi Awolowo University, OAU in Ile Ife in Osun State. He left Abuja on November 5th, 2021 to sit for his last examination in the University at Ile-Ife.
The deceased had lodged at Hilton hotels belonging to Rahman Adedoyin, where he allegedly lost his life and declared missing on November 7th, 2021, after his classmates discovered that he did not show up in class at Moro Distance Learning Centre of the University.
Also, the police investigation revealed that he had told his family of his plans to checked into Hilton hotels in Ile Ife, where he usually stays whenever he arrived Ile Ife.
At the beginning of investigation by the Police, the hotel had denied that the deceased lodged at their facility before some evidence on payment transactions was discovered.
Treasure Newspaper reports that the Police investigation officers also revealed that one of the white Hilux vans allegedly used in carrying the deceased’s body by the son of the hotel in person of Raheem Adedoyin, was later recovered in an undisclosed place in Abuja.
Adedoyin’s son was the Managing Director of the hotel and reportedly supervised the dumping of Adegoke’s body in a shallow grave along Ile Ife highway before it was recovered by the police.
Some suspects now at large in search by the Police are Raheem Adedoyin (Son), Esther Asigoh and Quadiri Moshood over alleged murder of Timothy Adegoke.

It is always good to tell your immediate relative your movement if the man had not informed his family about his movement, he wld av just died like dat & his death might not be traceable.
