Brigadier General Ifeanyi Advocates For Inter-Agency Synergy To Tackle Security Challenges in Ekiti State

The Commander of the 32 Artillery Brigade Nigerian Army, Brigadier General Justin Ifeanyi, has emphasized the need for inter-agency synergy to address security challenges in Ekiti State. 

He made the statement during his familiarization tour to security agencies within the brigade’s area of responsibility on February 18, 2025.

General Ifeanyi visited key security agencies, including the Nigeria Police headquarters, Department of State Services (DSS), and Ekiti State Security Network Agency (Amotekun).

At the Nigeria Police headquarters, General Ifeanyi expressed his determination to improve collaboration with the police and other security agencies. 

The Commissioner of Police for the Ekiti State Police Command, CP Joseph Eribo, appreciated the visit and assured the Brigade Commander of improved collaboration to ensure a safer environment for Nigerians.

According to the Assistant Director Army Public Relations, Njoka Irabor, the Commander also visited the DSS, where he assured the Director of improved synergy to address insecurity in Ekiti State. 

The State Director, Mr. Godwin Ejimofor Eze, reiterated the need for security agencies to form a robust front to tackle security challenges.

Equally, General Ifeanyi visited the Commander of the Ekiti State Security Network Agency (Amotekun), Brigadier General Ibukun Adewa (Rtd), to form a robust collaboration and promote cooperation among critical security stakeholders in the State.

The visits aimed to strengthen ties and enhance synergy with other security agencies, demonstrating General Ifeanyi’s commitment to promoting unity, cooperation, and synergy among security agencies in Ekiti State.
