Broken Homes: Agape Bishop Reinforces Need To Embrace Family Values

… Advises Nigeria Political Leaders To Shun Greed

The General Overseer and the Presiding President of Agape Ministries International, Bishop Felix Remi Adejumo has reinforced the need for parents to embrace family values as the solution to solving the miralds of problems usually associated with broken homes and broken marriages in our society of today, and urging the Nigeria political leaders to shun greed to be enable the Nation’s wealth to be equitably spread.

The Bishop gave the message while answering questions from Treasure Newspaper after the celebrations of his 70th birthday anniversary in Akure on Friday. 

According to Bishop Felix Remi Adejumo who described family as the bedrock of the society, decried the current situation where parents are no longer paying adequate attention to their children and wards, pleading with them to change, so that such will not affects their children when they get married later.  

Bishop Adejumo also pleaded with parents to always show example, pointing out that children learn more by what they see. “Once children know that parents are mirroring what is right, they will have no problem emulating it. Whatever Children see, they will do and replicate it anywhere they go”. 

Advising further, Bishop Adejumo counselled Nigerians to go back to the family values, encouraging the younger generation not to give in or give up. “Let them go back to it and then, start to do something. If they are not going to loose generations to come because we are loosing this generation now. But if they don’t want to loose the generation to come, they should pay attention to what is important”, he explained.

Speaking further, Bishop also called on the Nigeria political leaders to acknowledge the supremacy of God in the affairs of the Country for it to have peace and be underneath His everlasting arms. 

He described the God factor and relying on the right use of information as key in resolving the Country’s economy issues.

Adding, Bishop Adejumo identified greed by the Country’s political leaders as the major problems confronting the Country’s economy. “If leaders reduced this greed that is overtaken them, the Country’s common wealth will evenly spread to citizens and everybody will have his own bite and will be at peace. The Country will develop and everybody will equally rise”, he submitted. 

On the constant criticism of the payment of tithes and offering in Churches by one Uyo based Cleric, Pastor Abel Damina, the founder and President of Abel Damina Ministries International, ADMI and the CEO of Kingdom Life Network, KLN, a Christian Satellite TV Channel; Bishop Adejumo declined comments, saying “everyone rises and falls to his master”, declaring that he can’t judge anyone.
