Taking the helm of an institution once grappling with financial distress, industrial friction, and a waning corporate image, Prof. Ajayi has successfully steered FETHI toward a new era of excellence, marked by significant improvements in infrastructure, human capital, and service delivery.
Major achievements recorded in the hospital under the Professor Ajayi’s administration include:
Staff Welfare and Management: As FETHI CMD, Professor Kunle Ajayi implemented staff promotions, cleared salary arrears, and upgraded over 300 workers. Recruited in excess of 1,400 pensionable workers and ensured prompt payment of salaries and allowances.
Human Capital Development: He enhanced staff training and development, with nearly over 400 nurses holding university degrees and postgraduate qualifications.
