Efon Based Segun Oni Gives Reasons Why Dapo Karounwi Should Be Given Political Appointment 

Rt. Hon. Karounwi Oladapo was the Deputy Speaker in the first Ekiti State House of Assembly and it’s on record that he did absolutely well. This was at a time many of those jostling for political positions were still busy with their individual works, bringing in money for them.

The Graduate of Urban and regional planning never waver even when the street-compliant Gov. Fayose came with his mavericks,which many fell for.

I can say ,with all sense of modesty that the Cicero as he’s fondly referred to by his admirers, is the standout politician amongst the class of 1999. 

He has remained absolutely resolute to the ideals of the progressives, not giving to naira and kobo politics of most people.

Asiwaju Oladapo Karounwi therefore deserves his rightful place and should therefore be given a fair share of the spoils at this time.

The ‘former lawmaker’ tag should be taken from off his shoulders and placed in his archives and a new befitting name should be given.

Oko Abosede has really come a long way and he has paid his dues in the rank of the progressives that he stands shoulder high above his contemporaries in his constituency.

It’s noteworthy that our President-elect once said he wanted the presidency as he did not want to be part of people’s history, Asiwaju Kasto’s too should not just be part of  history but should be a real history maker.

It’s on record that Gov. Wike of Rivers was a local govt Chairman when Asiwaju Oladapo was a state legislator, and a Deputy Speaker, for that matter, he is eminently qualified to aspire to be a minister in the administration of His Excellency, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu. There’s no crime in aiming higher but we often denigrate our own.

Let’s support our own,let’s support Rt. Hon. Oladapo Thomas Karounwi as he takes another leap in his political career.
