The Nigerian Institute of Public Relations, NIPR, Ekiti State Chapter is set to hold its 2024 inaugural / business meeting tomorrow, Tuesday, the 30th of January, 2024, to specifically honour the Honourable Commissioner for Information, Rt Honourable Taiwo Olatubosun and some other members of the professional body in Ekiti State.
A release jointly signed by the State Chairman, Mr. Anthony Adesua and PR Executive of the Institute in the State, Mr. Ayodele Abere, stated that some members of th
e Institute who have distinguished themselves in various areas at different times will be honoured at the first business meeting of the year.
The prospective award recipients includes the Honourable Commissioner for Information, in Ekiti State, Honourable Taiwo Olatunbosun, the immediate past Chairman of the Institute and the current Acting Registrar of the Federal Polytechnic, Ado-Ekiti Prince Sunday Adeyemi-Adejolu, FNIPR and Chief Femi Ajayi, FNIPR.
The event which is slated for Tuesday, tomorrow morning, will take place at the Ekiti State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, near the Old Governor’s Office in Ado-Ekiti, the state capital by 4:30pm.
The press release added that the honour became necessary due to their commitments and general contributions towards the course of the Institute and members in the State.
While congratulating the prospective award recipients in advance, all the NIPR members in different establishments and Institutions in the State are enjoined to attend the first business meeting of the year and as well be part of the occasion which promises to be fun-filled, while new members are equally welcome.
The statement also urged the Executive Members of Nigeria Union of Journalists, Ekiti State Council to see this as an invitation to grace the occasion.
