Wife of the Ekiti State Governor, Erelu Bisi Fayemi has again solicited the cooperation of traditional rulers’ wives for the incoming administration to succeed in all its activities.
The Governor’s wife stated this when she paid a “thank you “visit to wives of the monarchs in the state at the Ewi’s Palace in Ado Ekiti.
Erelu Fayemi who was accompanied by the Wife of the Governor- elect, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, expressed her gratitude to the monarchs’ wives for their unflinching support for her and her husband since their journey into Ekiti politics noting that they all played their roles as true mothers of all.
Erelu Fayemi however urged the monarchs’ wives to extend the same love and support to the incoming First Lady, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji and expressed confidence that the incoming administration of Mr. Biodun Oyebanji would continue to improve the quality of life of the people through various programmes that could positively impact their lives.
In her contribution, wife of Ekiti State Governor-elect, Dr Olayemi Oyebanji, hailed the monarchs’ wives for their contribution to the emergence of All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate at the last Governorship election, assuring that her husband will always put the interest of the people first.

The incoming first lady assured the Olori’s that she would maintain the mothers and daughter relationship they had with Erelu Fayemi for her to succeed in the role she would take up after the inauguration of her husband as the state’s Chief Executive.
In her remarks, the Eyesorun of Ado Ekiti, Olori Abosede Adejugbe, who spoke on behalf of the wives of Ekiti traditional rulers eulogized the governor’s wife, Erelu Fayemi and appealed to her to continue to give useful advice to the incoming administration to succeed.
Olori Adejugbe said the state would never forget her good works in the areas of women emancipation, Girl child Education, defending the rights of women and children and other various actions taken on violence against women.
Earlier in her address, wife of the Alaaye of Efon Alaaye, Olori Roseline Aladejare, appreciated the good way the Governor’s wife has used her influence to promote Ekiti women home and abroad.
