In a show of loyalty and support, the Special Assistant on Entertainment to the Ekiti State Governor, Honorable Idowu Ogundola, known as Omopupa, has named his new office in Ikoro-Ekiti, in Ijero Local Government for Governor Biodun Oyebanji’s Campaigns.
The office which was named ‘OJUDE BAO’ aims to promote what Ogundola described as the good works of the Oyebanji’s administration and create platform for like minds to brainstorm on how to support government’s programmes and policies.
Speaking to newsmen at the public opening and endorsement of the Governor for another term in office, Ogundola stated that the Governor’s achievements since assuming office can not be overemphasized.

He said:”Governor Abayomi has done greatly that I don’t even know words to qualify it. He empowered youths and has done so many other good things, most importantly with my appointment as his S.A on Entertainment, which I appreciate so much.
“If permitted, I will build more of this office in all the 16 Local Government of the state so as to showcase his great feats”.
In a remark, the chairman of Eso-Obe LCDA, Honorable Kole Ayeni, also praised Governor Oyebanji for his contributions to the community development, highlighting the appointment of approximately 10 individuals from Ikoro-Ekiti to State positions.

“In the past, we only had one councilor in Eso-Obe, but today we have myself as the Chairman, the secretary, and other aides, up to 10 appointees from Ikoro-Ekiti”.
Honorable Ayeni detailed several projects undertaken by his administration since its inception, including drainage construction, operation BAO to school for school pupils which was rated the best in Ekiti state and also operation back to farm to assist farmers amongst numerous projects.
Also speaking, the State Chairman of Road Transport Employees Association of Nigeria in Ekiti State, Mr. Sunday Adeola, commended the Governor for the great service to the State and pledged the support of all road workers in the state for his second term.

The event was attended by numerous prominent figures, including the secretary of Eso-Obe LCDA, Honorable Aremu Olaitan, FIBAN Chairman, Olorunfemi Asorogbayi, Chairman Ijero, Honorable Folowosele, V.P BAO Youth Ambassador Comrade Folorunsho Ajayi, and others.
The highlight of the event was a unanimous endorsement of Governor Biodun Oyebanji for another term as Ekiti State Governor in 2026. This follows a similar endorsement made by Ekiti Central leaders yesterday in Ado-Ekiti.
