The Honourable Commissioner for Information in Ekiti State, Rt Honorable Taiwo Olatunbosun has declared that it is demeaning and unworthy for him responding to the jabs frequently being thrown at the government of Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji of Ekiti State by the Wole Oluyede Campaign Council.
Olatunbosun speaking with Treasure Newspaper in his capacity as the spokesperson for the Ekiti State government over the phone, described the frequent jabs from the acclaimed PDP’s Wole Oluyede Campaign Council as undeserving of any response considering the unsettled crisis and the sharp division which has engulfed the party in Ekiti State and the Country at large.
In his words, he said, “responding or replying to the unnecessary attacks on the peaceful and loving Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji will only amount to unduly dignify the confused PDP’s candidate and his self – glorified team with response.
Adding, he said, “he won’t descend so low arguing with someone who has no political party, and who is at the moment impersonating the current National Leadership of the People’s Democratic Party recognized by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC by their attendance at the recently concluded National Convention held at the National stadium in Abuja”.
Instead, he said, he would prefer to continue focusing his strength in promoting his principal, the peace loving Governor of Ekiti State, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji ahead of the June 20th, 2026 governorship election in Ekiti State.

He praised Governor Oyebanji for helping the State to rank very high in the independent assessments of the State’s fiscal transparency scorecard put at 39/39 as well as in the management of State’s public finance.
Olatunbosun also revealed the Oyebanji’s administration as the first in grassroots transparency and publishing of the State’s local government areas / local community development authority budgets as well as the first in the 2026 sub-national audit efficacy index among others for want of space and time.
