Adekolu Takes Over As Acting Chair

The Ekiti State Chapter of the Inter-Party Advisory Council, IPAC, has suspended its State Chairman, Pastor Daramola Owoola and his Deputy, Mr Femi Obidoyin for alleged infractions they committed contrary to the code of conduct of IPAC relating to the financial activities of the Council considered to be high – handed. 

Daramola Owoola and Femi Obidoyin’s suspensions as Chairman and Deputy Chairman were made public through a circular signed by the Ekiti State IPAC Publicity Secretary, Prince Ademola Adedayo and State Treasurer, Malam Jimoh Saheed and made available to Treasure Newspaper on Sunday evening.

According to the circular, it was revealed that a Disciplinary Committee will be set up soon to look into the matter for appropriate actions. 

Meanwhile, in the interim, Honourable Dare Adekolu and Chief Moses Awogbemi have been appointed to act as State Chairman and Deputy Chairman with immediate effect. 

Reacting to the suspension circular, the suspended State Chairman of IPAC, Pastor Daramola Owoola said, he is not aware of the suspension, pointing out that all the names listed on the letter and signatures are all fake.

Adding, Owoola stated that all the names listed are not in IPAC except that of Ademola Adedayo and Saheed Jimoh.
