The Chairman for Moba Local Government Area of Ekiti State, Honourable Bamidele Fadugba has announced the plan to float a new local security outfit to address the issues of insecurity within its local community.

The Moba Local Government Chairman, Honourable Fadugba dropped the hint while interacting with journalists at the State Secretariat of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists, NUJ, Ekiti State Council on Thursday in Ado Ekiti.
According to Honourable Fadugba, he said the local security outfit will be named “MASE”, meaning “DON’T DO IT” in English Language, and it’s establishment will be aimed at ensuring the protection of lives and properties of the people in the local government area.
Fadugba explained further that the local security outfit to be codenamed “MASE” will comprise of local hunters in the community with special uniforms to distinguish them from other security outfits, promising that the new outfit will collaborate with conventional security agencies to rid Ekiti State of criminals.
The Chairman also disclosed the plan of his administration to establish a sports hub which will serve as an opportunity for youths to develop their talents.
Fadugba also hailed the leadership styles of the Governor of Ekiti State, Mr
Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji since assuming office in the State, equally using the opportunity to solicit more support for the Governor for a second term re-election in the State.
The Chairman, NUJ Ekiti State Council, Kayode Babatuyi, commended the Chairman for his contributions to Moba LGA, adding that the media, will continue to assist in promoting his activities in his local government area.
