Ekiti NUJ Consoles Ondo Journalists On Governor’s Death

The leadership of the Nigeria Union of Journalists, (NUJ) , Ekiti State Council has condoled with her counterpart in Ondo State and by extension all media professionals in the state on the death of their former Governor, Arakunrin Rotimi Akeredolu, SAN.

The Council in a statement signed by the Chairman, Comrade Kayode Babatuyi noted that the death of Akeredolu was a loss to entire nation in which the media is not an exception considering his support for the industry.

Babatuyi said though, the death of Akeredolu was painful, he urged them to take solace in the fact that the late Governor lived a fulfilled life and made positive impact.

He prayed God to give the late Governor eternal rest and grant the people of Ondo State the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
