The State Chairman of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Ekiti State, Rt Honourable Tunji Odeyemi has created awareness for the people of Ekiti State to actively participate in the party’s electronic registration exercise in the State.
He appealed to the members and supporters of the party across the State to come out en masse and participate in the ongoing electronic registration exercise.
In a statement made available to newsmen in Ado Ekiti, the state capital, Rt. Hon. Odeyemi described the e-registration exercise as a strategic step towards strengthening the party’s grassroots structure and ensuring an accurate, credible, and up-to-date membership database.
He noted that the initiative would enhance internal democracy, promote inclusiveness, and position the party for greater success in future elections.

The Ekiti PDP Chairman emphasized that the exercise is open to both existing members and new entrants who are willing to join the party and contribute to its rebuilding process.
According to him, the digital registration process reflects the party’s commitment to modernization, transparency, and effective coordination at all levels.
Rt. Hon. Odeyemi reiterated that the PDP remains the best alternative for the people of Ekiti State, stressing that the party is fully prepared to reclaim its mandate in the forthcoming gubernatorial election scheduled for June 2026.

He expressed confidence that with unity, commitment, and active participation of members, the PDP would emerge victorious at the polls.
He further urged party leaders at the ward, local government, and state levels to mobilize members and ensure a seamless registration process in their respective areas.
He added that the strength of any political party lies in its membership base, calling on stakeholders to take the exercise seriously.

The Chairman also appealed to youths, women, and professionals across the state to seize the opportunity to register, assuring them that the PDP remains committed to policies and programmes that will restore the lost glory of Ekiti State and improve the welfare of its citizens.
