Ekiti Politician, Wale Alade Oba Reaffirms Commitment in Kayode Ojo’s Governorship Aspiration

A popular Ekiti politician, Honourable Wale Alade Oba has reaffirmed his unwaivering commitment to remain committed in the Engineer Kayode Olubunmi Ojo’s Governorship Aspiration.

He stated the above in a personal statement signed by him on Saturday and made available to newsmen, where he described his alignment with Engineer Kayode Ojo’s political movement as a principled decision rooted in the pursuit of genuine change and better governance for the people of Ekiti State.

In a bold declaration, Hon. Wale Alade Oba categorically rejected all forms of inducement or settlement aimed at swaying his loyalty. 

He therefore stated that the plot to assassinate him cannot stop Kayode Ojo’s political movement, as hundreds more like him will rise.

He emphasized that his support for Engr. Kayode Ojo is not driven by personal gain, but by a deep conviction that the future of Ekiti must be entrusted to competent, visionary, and development-oriented Leadership.

“The people of Ekiti cannot afford another eight years under a Leadership that is characterized by greed, incompetence, and looting,” Hon. Wale Alade Oba stated. 

“Our people have suffered enough. What we need now is a government that will prioritize the welfare of the citizens, restore accountability, and set a new course for inclusive growth.”

He warned that continuing down the path of misgovernance would only worsen the socio-economic challenges faced by the state, and urged the good people of Ekiti to rally behind Engr. Kayode Ojo, whom he described as a man of integrity, capacity, and vision.
