Ekiti: Seun Ayodele Indicates Interest In Contesting For IIJ SRC President

A student of the International Institute Of Journalism, IIJ, Ado Ekiti Campus, Mr Seun Ayodele has indicated interest in contesting for the position of the President of the Students Representatives Council, SRC. 

Mr Seun Ayodele, presently undergoing a course in Post Graduate Diploma In Public Relations and Advertising, PGDAP, at the Abuja – Ado Ekiti Campus of the Institution, has promised to provide a good leadership if elected as the President. 

Seun Ayodele in a statement personally made available to Treasure Newspaper in Ado Ekiti on Wednesday, officially announced his intention to run. 

He expressed his readiness to focus on progressive leadership, and promised to prioritize student interests, foster strong representation, and promote inclusivity and equality. 

He hanged his campaign on three major pillars which include, making himself available to hear and address students concerns; to constantly create the forum to get feedbacks and operate an open door policy where every student will be given the opportunity to actively participate in decision-making and ensure the establishment of a well structured student body for advocacy and bridge communication gaps.

He has also envisioned and factor an IIJ that embraces diversity, innovation, and equal opportunities, thereby ensuring that all students, regardless of background, have the resources and support to thrive.

Meanwhile reports reaching Treasure Newspaper revealed that the Ado Ekiti Campus of the IIJ SRC election will hold on Monday, the 24th of March, 2025 later in the month.
