All arrangements is now set for the Ekiti State Government to train some local government officials and civil servants on the use of Sign Languages in the State.
The Special Adviser on Special Education and Social Inclusion, Princess Adetoun Agboola made the above known in Ado Ekiti on Thursday through the Director of Press, Mr Femi Bamisaye.

Agboola stated the above in a maiden edition of a 10-minute facebook page training session for all public servants on sign language that will take off on Friday, the 1st of December, 2023 at 12.00 noon.
She said that the training sessions will hold on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays excluding public holidays till Wednesday, the 31st of January 2024.
Agboola added that the decision was part of the efforts of the administration of the Oyebanji led- administration to encourage social inclusion that will guarantee more interpersonal relationship among the Civil Servants and other officers living with deafness and problems of hearing.
The Special Adviser stressed further that the programme will also promote social inclusion opportunities among the appointees of Government.
All public servants are expected to participate fully during the course of the training.
The Special Adviser on Education and Social Inclusion told all the Public Servants who are interested in the training programme to log onto the Facebook page which is EkSG Special Education and Social Inclusion for participation.
