The Ekiti State Ministry of Works has alerted the public on its readiness to officially flag off the construction of the first ever ring road project in the State.

Announcing the decision through a press release signed and issued by the Director of Press at the Ministry of Works in Ekiti State on Wednesday, in person of Prince Kunle Adeniyi, stated that the flag off ceremony of the much anticipated ring road project would take place on Friday, November 24, 2023.
According to the notice for the official flag off, he said “the Commissioner for Works, Mr. Sola Adebayo, who made the announcement in his office in Ado-Ekiti, said the inaugural event would take place at Iworoko Ekiti by 10am”.
While inviting members of the State House of Assembly, State Executive Council, Traditional Rulers, Accounting Officers of MDA’s, Religious Leaders, Opinion Leaders, Iyalajes, Iyalojas and all stakeholders in the public transportation sector in the State to grace the occasion, the Commissioner equally advised the attendees to be seated as early as 9:15 am.
Commending the Governor for the initiative, the Commissioner highlighted the significance of the ring road project in enhancing the state’s infrastructure facilities and its connectivity.

The Director of Press, Prince Kunle Adeniyi, added that, the venue of the programme has been slated to hold infront of NASFAT Mosque before the Motif Funland, located along Are Ekiti to Afao Ekiti road.
