Father Ties Son To Tree, Blinds Left Eye In Ekiti

A 90year old man known as Afolabi has damaged the left eye of his son after subjecting him to severe torture.
Roundoffnews gathered that the incident happened in Aaye Ekiti, Ido Osi local government area of Ekiti State.
According to report, the man tied the 8year old boy to a tree and flogged him many times as the helpless boy cried for help.
It was gathered that in the process of torturing the boy, the stick he was using to beat him, hit the boy in his eye and damaged the socket.
It took the efforts of some passers-by to rescue the boy from the man.
The residents who were not happy with the situation called on non governmental organizations and security agencies to take up the matter and sanction the man to serve as deterrent to others.
