Mr. Isaac Fayose, the younger brother to the former Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has escaped death from gunmen attacks along Ife-Ibadan Highway, precisely at Gbongan in Osun State on Monday.
Giving an account of the incident on Monday evening, Mr. Isaac Fayose, the younger brother to the former Governor of Ekiti State, stated, that the attack on him and others occurred at the Gbongan area of Osun State.

Narrating his experience in the hands of the gunmen, according to his Facebook post, he said, he was coming from Lagos when the incident of the attack on him occurred and many were kidnapped by gunmen at Gbongan in the process.
Fayose whose car was badly damaged by the gunmen showed the photos of his car that was destroyed by gunmen.
He wrote on his Facebook page thus: “Thank God for life !!! No life was lost. Many were kidnapped by Kidnappers in Gbongan area of Oyo State coming to Lagos. No security in Nigeria at all. This is why I won’t vote Tinubu and Atiku they changed Goodluck to Buhari”, he wrote.
But efforts to reach out to the Police for reactions were unsuccessful as at the time of filing this report.
