A female Soldier has accused three senior officers of the Nigerian Army of maltreatment her, threat to wellbeing and attempting to rape and coarse her to sleep with them against her own wish.

The female Soldier who did not mention her name in a viral video accused three senior officers in the Nigerian Army namely Colonel IB Abdulkareem, Colonel GS Ogor and Brigadier General IB Solebo of deliberately witch-hunting her.

According to the female Soldier, she said, “I know what Governor Sanwo Olu did was very wrong but let’s be sincere with ourselves. Most of our Senior Officers are very wicked. They are worst than Governor Sanwo Olu. Let me tell you one story, but before I will tell you, I know they will come for me, lock me up and discipline me. I don’t care. I can’t even endure again. I don’t want to die young. Before anyone will dismiss me from this Army, anyone that call me for order to dismiss me will not see peace.

Continuing, she said, “if anything happens to her, she urged Nigerians to hold Colonel GS Ogor, Brigadier General IB Solebo and Colonel IB Abdulkareem responsible.

Narrating her ordeals in the hands of the three Senior Officers, she said, ‘in 2022, she was posted to Ojo barracks where she met Colonel IB Abdulkareem, who requested from her and she refused. Ever since then, she alleged that the said Colonel IB Abdulkareem has been a nightmare to her in the Army”.

The female Soldier went on to explain further how Colonel IB Abdulkareem threatened to dismissed her from the Army each time he comes across her.

She explained further how he comes to her room to inject her and also sends some boys to her house.

“She stated that she has her evidence if in case people thinks she might be lying.

She went further to accuse Colonel IB Adbulkareem of always stigmatising her to have mental illness each time she tried to expose him or each time any Senior tries to intervene.

She also narrated how Colonel IB Abdulkareem wrote to the Army Headquarters in Abuja three times to board her out of the Army and freezes her bank account since February, 2023 till now, that she was unable to get any salary.

“I cried to some Senior Officers. I wrote petitions using Section 179 of the Armed Forces Act. I have done so many things but nobody is giving me listening ears. Anyone who tries to intervene, he will tell them I have mental illness.

“There was a day he locked me up, injected me and tried to rape me. When they caught him, he said I have mental illness and then took me to psychiatric hospital and locked me up there for one month without medications.

“He denied me access to military courses and meanwhile, he knows very well that my progression in the Army is determined by my number of course attendance. Now, they have given me admission in medical school, they refused to release me.

“There was a time I called my Dad to intervene. He was telling my Dad to tell me to obey the last order which is to sleep with me. He denied me everything.  I can’t even go out to see my parents. No pass, no leave for me.

“Please, if anything should happen to me, hold them responsible. Those 3 people I mentioned are my nightmare in the Army. They have done everything to tarnish my image because they are all coursemates. I don’t know why Army will be so wicked and heartless. I don’t know what I have done to them. I can’t endure it again and I don’t care what happens after now”, she ended.

Meanwhile, in a swift reaction to the female Soldier viral video, through a statement sent to Treasure Newspaper on Saturday morning and signed by the Director of Army Public Relations, Major General Onyema Nwachukwu, enjoined the general public to disregard the audiovisuals making the rounds on social media which emanated through an unprofessional conduct of a female Soldier in mufti, against some Senior Officers in the Nigerian Army.
