Former Anambra Governor, Willie Obiano Is Alive, Not Dead – Family

News going round on social media that the former Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has died is false.

The family of the former Governor has come out in the public to clear the air, clarifying that Chief Willie Obiano is still alive, hale and hearty.

According to Paul Nwosu, PhD, he said, the former Governor of Anambra State, His Excellency Chief Willie Obiano, FCA, has reassured members of his family at home and in the diaspora, as well as his numerous friends, well-wishers, political associates and teeming supporters, that he is hale and hearty. 

He affirmed that, by the special grace of God, his health remains in excellent condition.

Paul Nwosu, PhD, in his statement however express regret that, in a desperate bid to generate social-media content, some individuals resort to spreading falsehoods and engaging in the unthinkable. 

He described such acts of mischief as unacceptable and promise that those behind such news will not go unpunished.

“The general public is hereby urged to completely disregard the misleading Facebook post in circulation”, Paul Nwosu submitted.
