Ido/Osi LG Chair Congratulates Senator Adetunmbi On Southwest Commission Nomination

The Chairman of Ido/Osi Local Government Area, Hon. Bamidele Omoleye, has extended his heartfelt congratulations to Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi on his recent nomination as the Chairman of the South West Commission by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

In a statement issued on Saturday in Ilogbo-Ekiti, the Council boss described Senator Adetunmbi’s nomination as a proof to his track record and commitment to the development of the Country.

According to him, the President made a wise and strategic choice by entrusting such a critical regional assignment to Senator Adetunmbi, whose wealth of experience in public service and legislative matters will no doubt be invaluable to the Commission.

“On behalf of the government and people of Ido/Osi Local Government, I extend our warmest congratulations to Senator Olubunmi Adetunmbi on his nomination as Chairman of the South West Commission. This is a well-earned recognition, and we are confident he will bring visionary leadership and purposeful direction to the Commission,” Omoleye said.

He expressed optimism that the South West Commission under Senator Adetunmbi’s leadership will champion initiatives that promote economic integration, infrastructure development, and social progress across the region.

Omoleye also pledged the support and cooperation of Ido/Osi Local Government for the success of the commission’s mandate.

Senator Adetunmbi, a former federal lawmaker representing Ekiti North Senatorial District, is widely regarded as a seasoned economist and policy expert with a strong commitment to regional and national development.
