If Voted As Rep Member, I Will Be A Positive ‘Natasha’ In Ekiti – Tokunbo Ajila Jakande

A prominent House of Representatives Aspirant for the Ekiti Federal Constituency 1 comprising Ado Ekiti and Irepodun/Ifelodun local government areas of Ekiti State under the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mrs Tokunbo Ajila Jakande has declare her readiness to be another positive Natasha in Ekiti State if elected to represent her party and also win at the 2027 general election.
She stated her position while interacting with journalists at the NUJ Press Centre in Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State on Thursday during the April edition of the NUJ State Congress.
She recounted the good works and numerous achievements of Senator Akpoti Natasha representing the people of Kogi Central at the Red Chamber of the National Assembly in Abuja.
Ajila while speaking further, promised to take a cue from the approach of Senator Natasha in passionately and compassionately addressing the needs of the people of Kogi State on one hand, and also standing up for women and lifting them out of the woods on the other hand.
She also used the opportunity to call on journalists to bring out the shortcomings and abnormalities in the society to the attention of the government for necessary consideration and action, explaining that Governor Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji cannot see everything but only through the representatives.
Responding to whether the incumbent member of the Federal House of Representatives, representing the Ekiti Federal Constituency 1 of Ado Ekiti and Irepodun/Ifelodun local government areas, Honourable Steve Olusola Fatoba has been endorsed by the APC party leaders in Ado Ekiti, Tokunbo Ajila said, “the news should simply be regarded as fake”.
She pledged that her reason going into the House of Representatives is to represent her people and not to acquire wealth, but to serve them, affirming that she is already made with several businesses owned by her in Ekiti and outside the State.
