The KIMPACT Development Initiative in its final report made available to Treasure Newspaper on Tuesday, emphasized the need to strengthen the enforcement of mechanisms regarding the conducts of elections in the Country.

The KDI also called for the establishments of mobile courts on election day to swiftly address cases of vote-buying, intimidation and other violations.

Adding, the KDI equally advocated for the empowerment of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and that of the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission, ICPC, to collaborate more actively with INEC in monitoring and prosecuting the electoral offenders most especially vote buyers on election day.

KDI stressed the importance of Nigeria entrenching principles of democracy, strengthening the credibility of its electoral processes and foster public trust in democratic institutions.
