Labour Party Backs Cashless Policy, Says Tinubu’s Campaigning Against Himself

The Labour Party has expressed total support to the recent cashless policy orchestrated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

According to Moses Jolayemi, State Coordinator, PCC for OBIDATTI of Labour Party in Ekiti State, he noted that the Presidential standard-bearer of All Progressive Congress, APC, Asiwaju Bola of Ahmed Tinubu is clearly campaigning against himself for believing the policy is targeted at him.

He noted that only Politicians who wants to use money to buy votes are the ones clamouring from the rooftops to criticize the CBN.

In his words, “People who are clamouring from the rooftop are the ones who plan to use money to buy votes”.

“It’s unfortunate that Tinubu is accusing the same party that he helped to form of putting policy that will make it impossible for him to win, I don’t understand”.

“That means he is even campaigning against himself, for him to be accusing the ruling party whom he is contesting under, to form a policy targeted at him not to make him win the election.”

On his part, the Director General of OBIDATTI Campaign Organization under the platform of Labour Party,  Balogun Akin Oshuntokun expressed confidence in its Presidential Candidate, Peter Obi, saying he is an incorruptible leader and one of the best Governors that the Country has ever produced.
