A 28 years old man, Faremi Gbenga Ojo troubling the peace of Ilupeju Ekiti in Oye Local Government Area of Ekiti State has been arrested on Monday, with items like charms, cutlass, knife and cane recovered from him.
The Head of the Communications Department for the Ekiti State Amotekun Corps, Officer Adeleye Abiodun Adewale made the above known through a press release made available to Treasure Newspaper on Monday evening.
According to Adeleye, he narrated how Amotekun Officers from Oye Local Government Command arrested a suspect, named Faremi Gbenga Ojo upon an official complaint made against him at the Command Outpost in Oye Ekiti before he was transferred down to the Headquarters in Ado-Ekiti for further profiling.
While interrogating the suspect, based on the complaint of his elder brother, that he was threatening the lives of his family, alongside the entire community after he (Faremi Gbenga Ojo) was released from prison, on account of trading on human parts to money ritualists.

The suspect was said to have confessed that, his ill-actions and misbehaviour were traced to the failure of his family towards financial assistance for his unripe freedom.
Also, other members of the community, who are Chiefs complained bitterly how the suspect constituted nuisance, and disrupted their peace, intimidating them with cutlass, incantation horns (afose), cane, knife, and other dangerous weapons, which were reportedly laced with charms.
It was also revealed that the suspect strangled his father, burgled his own house and stabbed him on the head with screw driver, attempting to kill before he absconded.

He revealed how everyone in the family had already disowned him, as no one could sleep again, with both eyes closed in the entire community for fear of been killed by him.
The suspect and the exhibits recovered from him has however been handed over to the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) of the Ekiti State Police Command in Ado-Ekiti for further investigation and necessary action.
