Meet The New Secretary To The Ondo State Government, Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti

Few hours after his inauguration as the 7th democratically elected Governor of Ondo State, Governor Lucky Aiyedatiwa wasted no time in announcing key appointments.

Among them is Dr. Taiwo Fasoranti, who was appointed Secretary to the State Government (SSG).

Before his appointment, Dr. Fasoranti served as Chairman of the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board, a key agency overseeing hospital operations in the state.

Under his leadership, the Ondo State Hospitals Management Board was adjudged to have experienced remarkable improvements in infrastructure, service delivery and patient care, in line with Governor Aiyedatiwa’s vision for the health sector.

His appointment as the SSG is, therefore, not a coincidence but a clear confirmation of his remarkable dedication, leadership and service to humanity.

A seasoned medical professional, administrator and humanitarian, Dr. Fasoranti brings to bear a wealth of experience spanning over three decades in medical practice, clinical research and medical education.

As a Family Physician and Medical Educator, he has made significant contributions to Nigeria’s healthcare sector and demonstrated an uncommon commitment to expanding healthcare access, particularly in underserved communities.

His work as President of the Medical Initiative for Africa (MIFAA) has impacted countless lives by providing free medical services to those in need. Beyond his professional and administrative accomplishments, Dr. Fasoranti is widely respected for his compassion, integrity and dedication to public service.

As a true son of Akureland, Fasoranti is the son of the Afenifere leader, Pa Reuben Fasoranti.

In his new role as the Secretary to the Ondo State Government, he will be instrumental in shaping policies, coordinating government activities and ensuring the seamless execution of Governor Aiyedatiwa administration’s ‘Our Ease’ agenda.
