New NSCDC Commandant, Toma Matthew Enya Resumes Duty In Ekiti

A new Commandant for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps, NSCDC, Mr Toma Matthew Enya has resumed into his new posting on Monday at the State Headquarters of the Command located along Ado/Ikere Ekiti road in Ekiti State, promising to ensure an improved security in the State. 

The new NSCDC Ekiti State Commandant, Mr Toma Matthew Enya takes over from his successor in office, in person of Commandant Sosina Paul Oluwaseun who was moved from Ekiti State Command to Jos, Plateau State for a managerial course. 

During the handing-over ceremony, Enya thanked the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, for the opportunity to serve in Ekiti. 

He assured that his administration will build on the achievements of his predecessor and explore new strategies to prevent crime and criminality in the State.

Enya commended Ekiti as one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria, attributing this to the efforts of the state government and security agencies. 

He expressed his commitment to partnering with peace-loving organizations, individuals, and groups to protect critical national assets and infrastructures.

The new Commandant also pledged to uphold fairness, equity, justice, and protection of fundamental human rights.

He urged the public to continue supporting the Command and other security agencies by providing timely information to aid in the arrest of criminals to guarantee peace in the State.
